Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Manager, Behavioral Care Partners-Linden Oaks

  • Full Time

  • Location: Corp Center-Warrenville, IL

Responsible for managing, planning, and organizing the work of the Behavioral Care Partners (BCP) team. Manages and monitors all aspects of Behavioral Health UM functions under the HMO UM Plan, including reporting on UM BH metrics and maintaining compliance with current guidelines including the Case Management program metrics. Provides oversight of staff to ensure that quality case management is provided to BCP members. In collaboration with the medical director and other health care team members, implements all Behavioral Health requirements of BCBS HMO UM Plan.

Oversees the maintenance of the BCP network including the provider roster, provider communications, and operational items related to network management. Analyzes network performance and member outcomes, develops and manages the BCP budget, and participates in the strategic planning process for BCP.

What you will need:

Minimum Education Level

Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or a doctorate in psychology or a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing

Minimum Licensure Requirements

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or IL Registered Nurse license.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of five years of psychiatric clinical experience

  • Minimum of two years of previous case management, managed care, and discharge planning experience

  • Excellent communication skills

Minimum Work Experience Preferred

  • Minimum of two years of previous supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Maintains current knowledge and adherence to insurance, especially Blue Cross Blue Shield, utilization management plans.
