Position Description:
An Electrified Powertrain Controls Software Engineer will develop and validate software algorithm that controls a variety of Electrified Vehicle functions. Functions span the scope of Energy & Power Management, Climate, HV Charging, HV Component Controls, among others. The engineer will collaborate in a multi-functional environment to define requirements and translate it into software design, implement in C-code or Model Based Software, and validate with unit tests and simulation (SIL, HIL). In addition, he/she will maintain software description documentation, software requirements, calibration guides, install guides, and releases notes.

Skills Required:
  • C Software Development, MATLAB/Simulink Software Development
Skills Preferred:
  • Unity/Ceedling, Simulink Test, Jira, Agile, Clearcase, Github
Experience Required:
  • 2+ years in automotive software development
Experience Preferred:
  • Electrification experience
  • Powertrain controls experience
Education Required:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Education Preferred:
  • Masters Degree
